California State Route 120 (SR 120), additionally referred to as the Tioga Pass Road or simply Tioga Road as it traverses the Tioga Pass, is a highway that extends from Interstate 5 to US 395 in Central California. The road is represented in American Truck Simulator.

The short section of the road between Interstate 5 and Oakdale has always been a part of the base map, while the scenic route through Yosemite National Park was first announced on the SCS Blog to come with the 1.31 update.[1]

Without a trailer, the entrance fee of the National Park is $20. When one tries to drive through the gate with a trailer, they will get a message saying: ''Commercial trucking is prohibited here. You have to turn around and go back!'' If the player ignores that, they will get a $1,000 fine.

Course[]

California State Route 120 begins as an undivided two-lane highway. It starts at an exit from Interstate 5 between Oakland and Oakdale. West of the Interstate 5 junction, SR 120 is instead a minor, unsigned road to Oakland. Heading east/west, SR 120 connects the I-5 with SR 99. It then crosses into the boundaries of Oakdale, in front of a gas station with a rest area. It passes by a Bushnell Farms depot while curving north, before turning into a four-lane divided highway. The speed limits here are 50 mph. After rounding a bend to climb up a small hill, it becomes an undivided two-lane highway again. It crosses the Tuolumne River via the James E. Roberts Memorial Bridge. From here, the road becomes very windy so the speed limit is lowered to 30 mph. The trucker can see the town of Moccasin and the Moccasin Reservoir in a valley below them on their right. Before entering Yosemite National Park, there is an inaccessible road down to Moccasin and a gas station. A sign notes that there is no gas in Yosemite. At the entrance to Yosemite, there is a parking lot where one can sleep. Due to the road's sharp turns, the speed limit in Yosemite is limited to 35-45 mph. One can stop by one of two viewpoints to take in the view of arguably one of the best, most beautiful national parks in America. The trucker then exits Yosemite 50 miles later, shortly after it ends at a junction with US 395.
