Note: This page contains only information about Dover in Euro Truck Simulator 2!

Dover is an English city featured in Euro Truck Simulator (Gold Edition), UK Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is at the southeastern corner of the island nation, and is one of the Kingdom's important entry points.

History[]

Dover was first featured in the Gold Edition of Euro Truck Simulator, but mainly as the port for truckers to enter or exit the United Kingdom, and no logistic companies possess depots in the area.

In the next game, UK Truck Simulator, Dover is an accessible city, with depots available. However, since the game features only the United Kingdom, truckers are unable to board ferries there in that game.

Dover in Euro Truck Simulator 2 is similar to its UK Truck Simulator incarnation, but with ferries and a Channel Tunnel railway station for truckers to cross the English Channel.

Landmarks[]

The only known landmark is the Dover Castle.

Features[]

The following companies have depots in or around Dover:

In addition, a hotel, a garage, a service shop and a recruitment agency are present in Dover.

Connections[]

The main road access to Dover is the A2 and the M2, which together connect Dover to London.

The A20, which is the more important connection to London in real-life, serves as the access to the Channel Tunnel railway station to the west of the city, as well as a connection to the A259 further west. This westbound road eventually reaches Southampton and Plymouth via various other routes.

Truckers may travel to Calais, France via the Port of Dover or the Channel Tunnel, to the east and west of Dover respectively.
