San Francisco is a city in the Bay Area of California. It is one of the largest cities in American Truck Simulator. Unlike the other cities in California that is fully reworked (i.e. Sacramento), San Francisco's original creation will be heavily revamped in update 1.50.
Landmarks[]
The city includes many attractions that are visible in real life, including Alcatraz Island, the Central Embarcadero Piers Historic District, the Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, the Golden Gate Bridge (which can be driven on), the Palace of Fine Arts, Pier 39 and the San Francisco Bay Bridge (also drivable).

Other known landmarks in San Francisco are the Boulevard Restaurant and Hotel Vitale.
Features[]
The city features a Charged warehouse, a small Eddy's market, a Plaster & Sons construction area and a Voltison Motors dealership. In addition, there is the only depot of Port of San Francisco.
One can also find a garage, two small gas stations (one of them is a Gallon Oil depot) and a Volvo truck dealer with a service shop and rest area in San Francisco.
Connections[]
The city itself is arranged in a circular road system. Three roads connect San Francisco with other cities:
- The runs to Oakland and Sacramento to the northeast.
- The runs to Santa Cruz and Los Angeles to the south, parallel to the , and San Rafael, Ukiah, and Eureka to the north.
- The runs to Santa Cruz to the south, parallel to US 101.
History[]
- In update 1.29, an at-grade three-way junction of US 101 and the Embarcadero was added.
- In update 1.32, a Volvo truck dealer was added.
