Rest stops are facilities for truckers to rest.
Unless a trucker has the "Fatigue simulation" option disabled, he / she has to stop the vehicle a take a rest every 11 hours, while the rest itself lasts for 9 hours.
Almost every city has a garage, a hotel / motel and a service shop, all of which have parking spaces for truckers to rest. In addition, rest stops can be found at the following locations or facilities:
- Large truck dealers (cities with these do not have a separate service shop)
- Gas stations along non-urban roads (those in cities do not always provide resting facilities)
- Toll booths, border crossings or sophisticated rest stations on dual-carriageway highways.
